Grape Harvest 2010 and 2011

Each year, Jeff and John, very good friend's, invite as many friends, relatives, and neighbors to their farm to assist in harvest the first weekend of October outside of charming Stockholm, WI. And each year I take advantage of the beauty to hone my photography skills and drink copious amounts of wine. These are a few shots from 2010 and 2011.

Lynn and John's wedding

On a chilly day late winter of 2011, I was hired to photograph an outdoor wedding at Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, MN. The bride and groom couldn't have asked for a better day for their wedding. The previous day mother nature laid a fresh coat of fresh snow – and on the actual day of the wedding the sky was blue the temperature was in the  mid-20's.

For their selection of wedding photos they were given an option of three styles, a contrasty black and white, a vintage kodachrome look or a color-rich set. The downside to giving the customer options: having the customer liking all the options.

In the end, we came up with a beautiful set of images for them to cherish until death do they part.

Recently, I had purchased a spiral pasta from a little italian market. The shapes were so simple and elegant they were begging to photographed before for being cooked in a mediterranean dish.
