Beautiful Minneapolis - in the summer.

Summer in Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful. Though, not as fun as San Francisco, CA - which I'll be visiting on Thursday. It'll be nice to go back to my second home.

Summer 2011

While visiting home in northern Minnesota last summer, dad was too lazy to bring out his actual tractor, but instead offered to take his toy version out for a spin around the yard instead. I'm thinking of blowing up the b&w image larger than life.

We did a few forced perspective shots that turned out with marginal success. However, I blame this on the battery of my Canon DSLR dying and opting to use the Sony NEX5 instead. It wasn't so much the camera, per se, but the DSL's 70-200mm lens was attached to the Canon body.

Two Faves: Brooklyn and Blue Bottle

After living in SF for 8.5 years, and loving Blue Bottle Coffee out there, I was surprised to come across a  location in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Alright, I'm jumping into this blogging thing a few years into the whole blogging explosion. Why am I doing it? Mostly to push myself further into the world of photography - to transition from photographing for fun and small projects at my design job into a full-fledged professional. Can it happen? Let's hope!

Since I'm 100% certain no one's yet reading this... I can say this foray in blogging may be just pointless or for fun.
